Powers: The kid is a genius, a child prodigy only he isn’t actually a kid. You’ll have to read about him to understand. Since the end of 1915 he has barely aged, still taking the form of the young seventeen year old he was back then.
His body can regenerate due to his own experimentations forced on him. He can also learn anything you put in front of him within minutes. It only takes him to be taught once.
If he feels threatened, he causes energy blasts to protect himself which have taken down villages and towns before and killed a lot of people.
His alter ego side is a lot stronger and a lot more viscious than he is inside.

Personality:
Ambrose is a quiet and reserved young boy. He is very polite and very thoughtful of those around him. He is curious as all kids are and always wants to learn about everything new.
It is best to avoid bringing up his past as it leads to complications. He either doesn’t remember or doesn’t like talking about it. It depends what side of him is around at the time.
Due to the experiments, he has a side to him that makes him believe he is still a monster to this day. A person who is bitter, distant and wants nothing more than to make others suffer. His other side makes him forget his past and think he is just a young boy living a normal life. He has flashbacks quite often and becomes confused as to why the images are there and will panic. There are a lot of things about himself that he can’t answer such as where his parents are, where he was born or even why he is here.
Deep down, the kid is sweet, caring and very happy natured. With the two sides of him fighting inside though, each day is a nightmare to see which side he is going to take that day. When he gets scared, he lashes out and this causes physical blasts which could kill.
He hates that he can’t help this but still always tries to stay happy and put others first.

History:
Not much is known about Ambrose’s past as even he doesn’t really know himself. At one point he was a child prodigy. His parents were proud of his gifts and showed him off even though he didn’t like being in the spot light.
It had been said, according to records, that Ambrose was a very special boy indeed. He had the ability to learn anything that was put in front of him. His mind would take only seconds to work the hardest of problems out and he had no problem when it came to school. In fact, he had graduated high school before the age of 15.
It was said that he took a great interest in to the sciences and anatomy of the human body, often experimenting on different family pets. He brought dogs back from the brink of death, found ways to see different enhancements that could make them live longer or run faster or be stronger. Some believed he used the supernatural to do all this, others believed he was a witch. Either way, it didn’t help him when WW1 was brought up on them.
His father was dragged away first leaving Ava and Ambrose to flee the small town they lived in. For a year they ran until eventually they were captured by the Nazi soldiers and taken to a secret place. This place became Ambrose’s home for many years.
They were taken to a room where his father was and after long needed hugs and greeting were over, his father broke down. He explained that the Nazi army were looking for ways to enhance the typical soldier. Regenerate them, heal them and make them stronger. He had failed to do this and had mentioned his own son. Of course, German army always got what they wanted and he been searching for the young boy for nearly a year.
His parents didn’t put up much of a fight as he was dragged away from them, kicking and screaming at the sight he was leaving behind. They did try to object but everybody knows what happens when you get in the way of a Nazi Soldier under strict rules. Two gun shots were fired and that was that. Ambrose never saw his family again.
This is when Ambrose started to lose his memory. He suppressed things. His parent’s death, the beatings he got when he refused to help them, the beatings he got when he couldn’t help them.
This is all we know now:
He worked under the Nazi army for years.
His experiments did work but they were forced upon himself before given to the soldiers.
Secretly, he attempted to do his own experiments to reverse the ones forced on him.
By the age of 16, he had noticed his aging had stopped, as had the ones of those soldiers he had experimented on though not to the extent of the young boy’s.
He noticed that the two different experiments fought each other rather than destroyed each other and this resulted in him having what we think is a split personality.
His ‘good’ side helps him forget and suppress his memories; the ‘bad’ side makes him remember and makes him think he is still that monster.
The army realised that their powers faded when Ambrose was near and soon found out about his other experiments.
Seeing him now as a threat and not needing him anymore, he got scared causing both sides of him to come together and cause an outwards force to emit from his body which resulted in the whole secret lair been taken down.
When the soldiers dug themselves out from the rubble, their powers had gone and there was no sign of the boy.
